As someone who has been lucky enough to know Marilyn for the last 6 years and one of her previous employers, I could not more confidently endorse her and Above and Beyond Caregivers more! I was highly impressed with Marilyn's abilities and insights from the moment of her interview! She quickly was promoted to Manager of my father's caregiving staff and no job or challenge was too big for Marilyn to solve.  Once hired, she made it her priority to become an expert in all things related to dementia, inflammation, and brain functioning. She attended seminar after seminar to become the expert she is today. 

She once stated that it was not her job to just take care of my father, but rather, to improve his life. In truth, she not only cared for my father, but also for his family.  There is no one better to have your back or be your advocate along a difficulty journey than Marilyn. She is, quite literally, the hardest working person I have ever met, and I have met many as a psychologist! She is driven, detailed oriented, loyal, professional, and extremely knowledgeable. I am writing to you regarding Marilyn, of Above and Beyond Caregiving. I have seen Marilyn on a large number of occasions over the last couple of years. She brought an elderly man with Alzheimer's disease to my office. Marilyn has been a relentless, effective advocate for my patient. As best I can determine she has watched him like a hawk and attended to a variety of cares. It is perfectly clear that she has good rapport with my patient and affection for him. She also had good insight into the issues that confront persons with cognitive decline.  I have been very positively impressed by the care that Marilyn has given my patients.

I have had the opportunity of interacting with Marilyn Schroeder over the past several years.  I am a practicing dermatologist and care for a 78-year-old male patient with dementia and a history of multiple skin cancers. He is brought to the office by Marilyn.  She is very aware of any suspicious skin lesions that appear on my patient's skin and therefore helps to identify possible skin cancers.    My patient has had multiple skin cancers biopsied and surgically removed in my office.  Marilyn has always done an excellent job in caring for the biopsy and surgery sites.  She has been very helpful in the management of my patient and is certainly part of 'the team."  I very much appreciate her help in caring for my patient.

I have worked with Marilyn Brossard-Schroeder since 1997 and can testify to the outstanding care that she shows as a caregiver and advocate for those who need extra attention, such as dementia and Alzheimer’s patients.  She simply goes above and beyond all other caregivers that I have ever seen in my career.  

She attends appointments with her clients, keeps detailed notes, organizes daily routines and therapy appointments, research issues at hand, searches applicable therapies and brain games, organizes communication between family members and doctors and much more.  This level of care giving helped one of my clients to develop better brain function and thus have a better, more fulfilling quality of life.
